Rental terms

The rental is concluded between the tenant and the agency identified in the confirmation. These conditions supplement the contract, the inventory, the price list, the insurance and the special conditions of the agency; in case of contradiction, the information confirmed for the reservation prevails.

Only the renter and additional drivers accepted by the agency can drive the vehicle. They present a valid license, ID or passport and any required documents. The minimum age and minimum seniority of the license are those displayed by the agency; their verification takes place at the latest upon receipt.

The price is expressed in Moroccan dirhams and includes the elements indicated before confirmation. Options, taxes, delivery charges, mileage, fuel, deposit or surcharges are detailed in the reservation or contract. The agency can offer payment online, by card or in cash on site within the applicable legal limits.

The deposit is set by the agency and specified before or during delivery. It can be cashed, deposited or subject to a card imprint depending on the agency's conditions;Udrive does not automatically block the card for this deposit. A contradictory inventory of fixtures at departure and return, including mileage, fuel and apparent damage, serves as a reference.

The vehicle is returned to the agreed place, date and time, with its accessories and documents. Any delay must be reported immediately; it may result in an invoiced extension or fees provided for in the contract. Fuel and mileage rules are those indicated by the agency.

The vehicle is used in Morocco, for the agreed use, by authorized drivers only and in compliance with Law No. 52-05 on the highway code. In particular, subletting, illegal transport, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, competitions, driving off suitable lanes and leaving the territory without written agreement from the agency are prohibited.

The vehicle is insured in accordance with Moroccan regulations. The guarantees, exclusions and excess amounts are those of the contract and the insurance policy. In the event of an accident, theft, attempted theft or damage, the tenant protects the vehicle, immediately informs the agency and the competent authorities, and provides the useful documents, in particular the report when applicable.

The tenant is responsible for fines, tolls, impound fees and consequences of violations committed during the rental, subject to applicable rules. In the event of a breakdown, he contacts the agency or assistance indicated in the contract; he only carries out repairs with his agreement, except in the event of a justified safety emergency.

Cancellation and modification requests are processed according to the policy presented before the reservation and kept with it. By default on Udrive, reimbursement is 100% at least 48 hours before pick-up, 50% at least 24 hours before and 0% thereafter, unless the agency's own policy or more favorable mandatory law. The agency's refusal or unavailability not attributable to the client gives rise to the appropriate processing of the payment.

Any difficulty must be reported quickly to the agency then to Udrive, with the useful information. The contract is governed by Moroccan law; in the absence of an amicable agreement, the dispute falls under the jurisdictions with material and territorial jurisdiction.
